The stories in this book are the tales I wish I’d been told as a child.

Don’t get me wrong, I had many beloved books about kings, queens and happy endings but Good Night Stories For Rebel Girls is bursting full with inspirational, non-fiction stories of women who have shaped the world and society as we know it.

This book tells the life stories and explores the legacies of one hundred female athletes, activists, writers, scientists and even sailors.

Not only is the book beautiful to read but it is also beautiful to look at. For each story, there are vivid illustrations created by talented female artists from all around the globe in a wide variety of art style.

Good Night Stories For Rebel Girls sits on my bedside table and it is a book that I reach for time and time again when I lack motivation or positivity. It always lifts my spirits without exception.
