This Bookseller’s Breakfast was shot in my stepmother’s lovely kitchen in North London around a small book taken from the writings of Virginia Woolf on London. Her series of portraits in words range from descriptions of the docks to the shopping in Oxford Street. The true docks have almost gone but her vignette on Oxford Street still holds true.

It is a fascinating book and an excellent stocking filler for a Woolf lover especially if they know London.

To eat I had a ripe peach and granola topped with almond soy yoghurt and fresh fruit with a sprinkle of golden flax seeds. The coffee is from my stepmother’s Nespresso machine and is not bad at all.
